Ceramic surfaces are easy to clean and resistant to numerous stresses and strains. By choosing the fine stoneware products from systemceram, you are opting for less maintenance and excellent quality. Strongly coloured juices, acids and dirt barely penetrate the dense material, making it almost immune to their effect. However, if your ceramic product does get dirty, we have some tips for you.
Initially, all you need to keep your systemceram sink clean is a cloth and a sponge. Use a soft cloth to remove all of the residue and minor dirt. Our BioTopp cleaner has been specially developed to meet the needs of KeraDomo sinks. The cleaner is skin-friendly and effortlessly removes all kinds of dirt. It will have your sink gleaming again in no time.
If you don’t have our cleaner to hand, you can use an alternative that you have in your home. In the case of heavy soiling, apply some diluted, mild vinegar-based cleaner to a non-abrasive sponge and leave the cleaner to take effect. The acid will not damage the ceramics. Aggressive, abrasive cleaners can, however, damage the CleanPlus surface, as such it is recommended that you stay on the safe side with mild detergents.
Even stubborn dirt such as metal abrasion can be easily removed with the BioTopp cleaner and a non-scratching sponge. In the video we show you how to do it.
CleanPlus surface
Limescale and dirt have no chance on a surface sealed with CleanPlus. If you follow our care guide, the surface will pretty much clean itself. Removing unpleasant odours from the drain
A tried-and-tested solution to this problem is to pour four dessert spoons of baking powder down the drain; followed by a cup of vinegar. This solution will then fizz loudly. Rinse with lukewarm water until the fizzing noise stops. Salt is also effective against odours. Simply pour two dessert spoons of salt down the plughole and wait half an hour. Then rinse with cold water.
